India Liberty Awards 2021

Indian Liberty awards for freedom honor significant achievements of leaders of the Indian liberal movement who have made a lasting effect on the libertarian movement/ demonstrated exceptional dedication in advancing the cause of liberty. The awards are given in three categories Libertarian Of The Year,  Libertarian Activist, and Young Libertarian. These awards are given to Libertarians or otherwise, who made notable personal efforts in defense of liberty.

Libertarian of the year (*Yet to Open)

Libertarian of the Year recognizes outstanding leadership in pushing forward libertarian reforms, high character, and dedication to the principles and goals towards building liberal movement and establishing organizations.

Libertarian Activist (*Yet to Open)

This award will be presented to someone who does not have a big public profile (yet) who are able to take forward their work communicating Libertarian ideas, principles, and values. This award encourages budding libertarian activist to step up in the movement.

The award recognizes student leaders and young liberal advocates who engage in building effective activism, organizing community outreach, and communicating Libertarian ideas.

About Awards

The award recipient is selected by a jury that consists of experienced and well-known liberty advocates from the Indian liberty movement. Any student or young professional who is working to advance human freedom is eligible for nominations. Anyone can be nominated and self-nominations are encouraged.
