Swatantrata Center in partnership with Indias Aces hosting Humans of LGBTQAPPHK++ and This event is our attempt to bridge the gap between the LGBTQIA+ community members and non-LGBT+ people, who get minimal opportunities to understand each other in full capacity due to a lack of safe spaces to mingle and mix freely in. The vision is to create more aware and sensitized allies, empower community members to share their stories, and to encourage integration. Unlike most other LGBT+ events, this event is not centered around speeches, or performances, or a stage and an audience setting. Instead, we’ll all be indulging in some mind-boggling activities, breaking the ice and breaking barriers, before the listeners sit down to have a heart-to-heart with each of our diverse story-sharers, who will host us in their personalized hubs! By the end of the event, each listener would have had the opportunity to share space with, and learn from all the identities across the spectrum. The event takes place on Zoom, on 21st March, Sunday, in two slots: 11 am-2 pm, and then 4 pm- 7 pm (IST).
