Current Call for Internship

Swatantrata Center is looking for two dynamic, highly motivated Program Interns to lead the execution and marketing of our flagship initiatives. These roles are ideal for students or young professionals based in Telangana or Andhra Pradesh (preferably Hyderabad) who are passionate about policy, classical liberalism, and grassroots engagement.

Role Overview

  • Term: 6 Months
  • Location: Virtual (Hyderabad-based candidates preferred) or AP & Telangana (remote with ~40% travel for in-person engagement in Hyderabad)
  • Reporting to: Director of Operations (or assigned advisors).
  • Reward:  i. Official Service-cum-Reference Letter upon successful completion.
  • ii. The performance-based monetary award is evaluated after the first 3 months.
  • iii. A sponsored international offline training for the top performer

Primary Portfolios

Mini Grant & Fellowship Manager

Focus: “Swatantrata Mini Grants: The New Age Indic Liberalism Fellowship”

  • Program Marketing: Execute multi-channel campaigns to attract high-quality proposals from academics, researchers, and content creators
  • Tracking & Operations: Manage application pipelines, schedule video screenings, and track fellow milestones
  • Reporting: Collect and review progress/final reports
  • Storytelling: Transform technical reports into engaging success stories (blogs, social threads, newsletters) for donor impact

Requirements & Skills
    • Location: Must be residing in Telangana or Andhra Pradesh and able to travel to Hyderabad for events/meetings.
    • Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills in English (Proficiency in Telugu is a significant plus for the Debate program).
    • Digital Savvy: Comfortable with social media management, basic design tools (like Canva), and video conferencing (Zoom/Meet).
    • Mindset: Alignment with the mission of Swatantrata Center, promoting economic freedom, limited government, and individual rights.
    • Background: Students or recent graduates in Political Science, Economics, Law, Public Policy, or Mass Communication are encouraged to apply.
